Boss Looping Championship

Frankfurt was amazing! So many talented people, I was really proud to share the stage with them all.  The winners were Tioneb (France) in first place, followed by En.Dru (Czech Republic) and Vahtang (Russia); all were spectacular.  It was a real eye-opener going to Frankfurt Musikmesse (in case you don't know, its the largest music trade fair in Europe - just think a tech paradise the size of a small town, with whole rooms full of keyboards, electronic drums and anything else you can name.).

Boss will be adding videos of the night shortly and I will put up some links.  In the mean time I am in the basement, getting to know my RC300 (my prize from the UK Championship in November) as well as my lovely new Novation Xiosynth 25. Watch this space...

I don't know how my metronome came to be on, but ushered onstage like startled rabbits none of us had much change to check our setups. That and the enormous timer on an iPad counting down a 5 minute deadline made this one of the most charged performances ever!

Here is the American winner, Angela Sheik from Delaware. Great to see someone else looping an autoharp - the results are rather beautiful I think.

Here also is the amazing Randolf Arriola - he gets such a beautiful sound and does a great song justice.
